William Black Memorial Cemetery
a few words about us…
William Black Memorial Cemetery is a non-denominational community cemetery, welcoming everyone. Visitors are welcome daily during daylight hours.
Located along the scenic Peggy’s Cove Road (Highway 333) in Glen Margaret, the cemetery entrance is marked by wrought iron gates leading to a winding tree lined drive.
Since its inception in 1958, the cemetery has seen two expansions and now occupies approximately 1.5 acres of landscaped grounds in a wooded setting.
Our cemetery is a place of peace and beauty in all seasons. Roadways are cleared throughout the winter, allowing year-round access.
A portion of sales is dedicated to a perpetual care fund, ensuring maintenance of the cemetery into the future.
As a registered charity, donations in support of cemetery maintenance are most welcome. Tax receipts for donations are available on request.
Volunteers play a huge part in maintaining our beautiful property. We are sincerely grateful for all that they do.
Each lot may accommodate either one full casket burial and the cremated remains of up to four persons, or the cremated remains of up to five persons.
Current pricing and cemetery regulations can be found by using the buttons on the main cemetery page.
Enquires by phone or email are very welcome!
