William Black Memorial United Church Community Hall
Opened in 1987, our Community Hall is sited adjacent to our church on the shore of beautiful Fraser Lake and is available for rental as a meeting and event space. Receptions, family reunions, birthday parties, artist groups, yoga classes - we welcome all.
We offer a large, bright, accessible meeting/activity room with folding tables and chairs that can accommodate a variety of uses. The hall features a catering-quality kitchen, two private bathrooms, and an outdoor barbecue.
We have space for recurring and one-time bookings, with a capacity of 90 occupants with non fixed seating and 64 occupants with fixed seating.
At the rear of the hall we have a paved terrace which can accommodate tables, chairs or a marquee tent. Lawns stretch to the edge of the lake with benches situated to take in the view. Also on the property we have built, and maintain, a large fenced play park that’s perfect for entertaining younger guests.

Standard Rates:
$60 minimum, first 2 hours
$15 each additional hour, max $180 for day
$60 additional for use of kitchen (stove, dishes, etc)
